- To revitalize local community’s economy by boosting demand for traditional markets


■ Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE, www.ksure.or.kr) announced that celebrating New Year holiday, it had a shopping day at local markets on January 31.

○ About 40 employees visited Inwang Market in Hongje-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, which is a sister market with K-SURE, and had a time of harmony and communication.

○ Since K-SURE signed a sisterhood relationship with Inwang Market in 2014, it has purchased event items, food products, and consumables at the Market every year.


■ President Lee of K-sure, told the members of Merchant Association (Chang-sun Kim, Chairman) that “We hope that this event will revitalize local markets.”

○ He also said that “We will work hard to communicate more closely with the community to create the world that lives well together.”
