K-SURE designated “The Month of Integrity” to deepen its commitment to ethical management culture

- Carrying out diverse activities to promote the sense of integrity including a integrity performance and virtual training.


■ In order to promote the sense of integrity among its members, K-SURE designates September as the month of integrity and holds various activities every week in the month.


■ This September, K-SURE held events where all employees could participate in and actively communicate with each other. For example, it had an integrity-themed performance event in which actors and audiences could communicate. Also, the employees get a virtual training on integrity using play money. All of these activities are part of the effort of K-SURE to break away from the one-way education done in the past.

○ The virtual integrity training is to see whether an employee who received play money reports it and follows the return procedures based on the Anti-graft law. To raise anti-corruption awareness, the training was conducted ahead of Chuseok, Autumn Evening, when corruption is more likely to be rampant than usual in the name of ‘holiday gift.’

○ On September 25, they had a ‘integrity performance’ showing how to handle ethical conflicts in an organization. The motive is from ‘Chinese minnow’, which lives only in clean water.

- Employees are more immersed into the play and get the clear message from it by participating in the performance. Even though the subject, integrity, is not easy to take on, the members rather felt fun and even impressed during the play. After the activity, there was an event distributing steamed white rice cake and soap representing ‘INTEGRITY.’


■ K-SURE has dutifully followed the integrity policy finally achieving the first grade in ‘Internal Integrity’ in integrity survey by Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission.

○ The number of institutions that achieved the first grade was only two out of the same type of 37 institutions. And K-SURE is one of the two.


■ An official from K-SURE said, “We held various kinds of integrity-themed events for our members to feel more clear about integrity.”

○ He added, “We are planning to hold more external activities about integrity to spread the culture of cleanliness. For example, we are thinking about conducting joint integrity campaigns with other organizations.”
