K-SURE held a shopping day at local marketsbefore New year holiday approached,donating the item bought to social welfare facilities.

■ Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE, www.ksure.or.kr) announced that celebrating New Year holiday, it had a shopping day at local markets on 21th.
○ About 40 employees visited Inwang Market in Hongje-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, which is a sister market with K-SURE, and had a time of harmony and communication.
○ Since K-SURE signed a sisterhood relationship with Inwang Market in 2014, it has purchased event items, food products, and consumables at the Market every holiday.
■ This time, the event was even more meaningful. K-SURE bought around KRW 6 million of products in the market and donated them to social welfare facilities.
○ These days local markets are struggling since consumers prefer to buy products online instead of offline. In this sense, K-SURE is planning to help local markets build the website which will play an critical role in its promotion leading to increase in sales.
■ Mr. Mr. Inho Lee, Chairman and President of K-SURE, said, “The visit means a lot to us. We were able to do a little part for cheering them up. K-SURE has always tried to become a caring community that looks out for others in everyday life.”
○ He added, “We will continue to work hard to communicate more closely with the community to create the world that lives well together.”
